Cybersecurity Instructor

Role Overview

As a Cybersecurity Instructor, you will deliver scheduled virtual training sessions to learners helping them develop practical cybersecurity skills. You will leverage your knowledge of digital forensics, cyber protection, and other defensive security domains to provide engaging, high-quality instruction. In addition to teaching, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of course content and learning resources. Comprehensive teaching materials and instructor training will be provided.

This remote role requires flexibility to support scheduled training sessions across different time zones.

Past Experience

Candidates should have practical experience using cybersecurity defence and digital forensics tools across both Windows and Linux environments, with the ability to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios. Experience working with security investigations, threat analysis, incident response, or other defensive cybersecurity activities will be highly regarded. Previous experience delivering virtual training, workshops, or technical presentations is desirable and will be considered an advantage.

Payment

This role is initially offered on a casual employment basis and includes a paid training program. During this period, the applicant will complete practical exercises designed to develop the skills and demonstrate competency required to progress to the Instructor role. Upon successful completion of the training, the candidate will transition into a part-time Instructor position. Subject to operational requirements and demonstrated performance in the part-time Instructor role, there may be opportunities to progress to a full-time position.
